RAD Suite guide

A simple phone-first guide for approving requests, blocking dates, sending confirmations, keeping a backup, and saving the app to an iPhone Home Screen.

Approve a stay request

  1. Open Admin and log in.
  2. Go to Pending.
  3. Review the dates, guest count, and notes. Tap Details if you want a larger page for that request.
  4. Tap Approve or Decline.
  5. After approving, use the message box to send the confirmation by WhatsApp, Text message, Share, Copy, or Email.

Block dates

  1. Go to Block.
  2. Choose the first blocked date and the checkout/end date.
  3. Add a short reason, like “repairs” or “family stay.”
  4. Tap Block dates.

End dates work like checkout dates. Blocking June 10 to June 12 blocks the nights of June 10 and June 11.

Public availability calendar

The request form can show family which nights are available before they submit a request.

  1. Guests see simple labels like Available, Already booked, or Unavailable.
  2. Guests do not see names, phone numbers, emails, notes, address details, private links, or blackout reasons.
  3. Go to SettingsPublic availability calendar to choose soft warning or hard stop behavior.

Use the admin calendar

  1. Go to Calendar.
  2. Use Previous, Next, or Today to move around.
  3. Tap any day to see booked stays, pending requests, and blocked dates for that day.

Send a confirmation

  1. Open an approved reservation.
  2. Tap Message or open Details.
  3. Choose WhatsApp, Text message, Share, Copy, or Email.
  4. If sharing fails, tap Copy and paste the message manually.

Find old or cancelled reservations

  1. Go to History.
  2. Choose Past approved, Cancelled/declined, or All reservations.
  3. Tap Details to review or edit one reservation.

Back up the reservation list

  1. Go to Export.
  2. Tap Download reservations CSV for a spreadsheet-friendly copy.
  3. Use Download full JSON backup if a technical helper asks for a full backup.

Keep backups private. They may include guest contact information and private guest page links.

If notifications fail

The reservation still saves. Notification failures do not cancel or block a booking.

  1. Go to Notify.
  2. Tap Test notifications.
  3. If the test fails, copy the confirmation message and contact the guest manually.

Add to iPhone Home Screen

  1. Open the Admin page in Safari on the iPhone.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Name it “RAD Suite” and tap Add.

Calendar feed

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Copy the private calendar feed link.
  3. Add it as a subscribed calendar in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar.

Keep the feed link private. Anyone with it can see approved reservations and blocked dates. Regenerate the link if it is shared by mistake.
